Fisherman Cake
A yummy carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Cream cheese frosting is a little hard to decorate with because it melts so quickly!

Superman
We had a "Super" Party at the Treehouse! I found a great spot for a birthday party at Glenview Baptist Church. They have and incredible treehouse playroom. The kids really enjoyed themselves, and wore themselves out!
Then we partied in the party room! I made a ton of cake! I made a half sheet cake and put the Superman symbol around the sides. The top cake was a detailed Superman.
The party attendants even decorated the table using the plates and napkins!

Diego Jungle Cake
My oldest son loved Diego as soon as he saw the first cartoon. He decided that he wanted an animal rescuer party. I looked everywhere to find Diego party supplies. They were no where to be found. All I could find was the Diego figure with baby jaguar...so I got a few more random animals and made my own Diego cake
I made a vanilla cake with buttercream frosting.
The monkeys and the palm tree leaves are made from chocolates.

Lightning McQueen
My youngest son loves the movie CARS. So for his second birthday, the theme was obvious...CARS!! Luckily, the paper products were plentiful at all the party stores, but now what kind of cake to make...
I decided to make Lightning McQueen.
This cake is the equivalent to 1/2 sheet cake...it's a good size!
We love snickerdoodle cake in my family, so I made a delicious cinnamon cake with buttercream frosting. The baking was quite simple, but the decorating was another story.
It went rather smoothly, but took a bit longer than I anticipated...2 1/2 hours!
I had so much fun making this cake! And even better the kids and adults loved it!!!
